Junee Hotel supports Just a Farmer in Junee
A meaningful community event for rural mental health
The Junee Hotel is proud to support the Just a Farmer screening in Junee NSW, a community event bringing people together for an important conversation about rural mental health, grief, resilience, and connection.
This event is designed to help rural families, farmers and regional communities feel seen, supported and connected.
For the Junee Hotel, supporting this night reflects our long-standing commitment to country hospitality and community wellbeing.
The Just a Farmer screening will take place at the Athenium Theatre, Junee, on Friday 24 July 2026. A free community BBQ will be served from 6:00pm, with the MC and program beginning at 6:30pm.

Why Junee Hotel is involved
The Junee Hotel is honoured to support this important rural mental health initiative as a sponsor.
Our contribution includes discounted accommodation for the keynote speaker and a meal voucher for a lucky prize on the night. We also encourage our community to attend and share the event widely, because these conversations matter in regional NSW.
Mental health in rural communities
Events like Just a Farmer are important because they create a safe space for honest conversations about mental health in farming families and rural towns. Rural support services such as RAMHP, Rural Aid and rural financial counselling can help people access the right assistance at the right time. Bringing these organisations together in Junee helps strengthen awareness, support and community connection
How to register
Tickets are free, but registration is recommended to help organisers manage seating and catering. You can register via the event booking link provided by the organisers. If you are in Junee, the Riverina or wider regional NSW, this is a powerful local event worth attending.
