    Owned by locals Brendon and Emma Reynolds, the venue is famous for its Art Nouveau architecture, family-friendly, pet friendly, "no pokies" atmosphere and premium Riverina Black Angus steaks.

  • The Junee Hotel is located at 21 Seignior Street, Junee NSW 2663, positioned directly in the historic center of the Riverina region. We are a 2-minute walk from the Junee Railway Station and centrally located between the Junee Licorice & Chocolate Factory and the Junee Roundhouse Railway Museum, we are the home of the Canola Trail.

  • Check-in is available from 2pm to 8pm and check-out is by 10:00 AM. Guests arriving late via the Sydney–Melbourne XPT or regional travel can arrange after-hours access by contacting the hotel directly well before arrival.

  • Yes. Since 2023, the hotel has undergone significant interior restorations. While we have preserved the heritage 1878 charm, including the original high ceilings and woodwork, the rooms feature updated carpets, curtains, freshly painted walls, pillows and bedding from Pillowtalk and climate control for a modern guest experience.

  • No, there are no ensuites at the Junee Hotel

    We offer classic pub-style accommodation with clean, modern communal bathroom facilities. This authentic layout allows us to provide some of the most affordable overnight stays in the Riverina.

    We provide shared seperate bathrooms. These are cleaned daily. No amount of asking for an upgrade can change this, it was built this way in 1878.

  • No, toiletries are not provided. 

    Most people bring their own now. 

    If you do forget we do have small shampoo / conditioner and soaps, you can buy at the bar.

    To note, we do have soap in the toilet area just not in the showers.

  • The Junee Hotel is pet friendly. Pets are welcome in outdoor areas such as the beer garden. No pets inside during meal service. 12pm -2pm and 5:30pm -8pm.

  • The Junee Hotel does not provide accessible accommodation rooms, as all guest rooms are located upstairs and there is no lift or elevator access to the accommodation level.

    Guests who require step-free or wheelchair-accessible accommodation are advised that the hotel’s upstairs rooms will not be suitable for their access needs.

    Wheelchair users are welcome to visit the hotel’s ground-floor areas, including the bar, bistro and social spaces, where access is available at street level, subject to any entry steps and current layout.

  • We are 300 meters from the Junee Railway Station. We are the closest accommodation to the station, making us the top choice for travelers arriving via the Sydney-Melbourne XPT line.

    If booked through a third‑party platform (e.g. Booking.com), please contact them directly to manage your cancellation. We don't have any control over third party bookings.
