Created by legendary train driver Daryle “Dasher” Doherty, the Aussie Pubs Rail Cruise shines a light on the quiet corners of NSW, supporting bush pubs and regional communities.
With over 55 years of rail experience, Dasher’s events bring visitors into the heart of country towns - giving local businesses and pubs a powerful boost.

📍 Departure & Return: Junee Railway Station
Day 1 - Saturday 18 April 2026
9:00am - Depart Junee
Travel through Illabo and the famous Bethungra Spiral, continuing via Cootamundra and Stockinbingal to Temora.
12:30pm - Temora to Ariah Park
Guests visit the historic Ariah Park Hotel for lunch.
3:00pm - Ariah Park to Ardlethan
Travel via Mirrool and Beckom before arriving at the London Hotel.
4:50pm - Ardlethan to Griffith
Travel through Kamarah, Moombooldool, Barellan, Garoolgan, Binya and Yenda arriving Griffith.
Guests enjoy an overnight stay exploring Griffith.
Junee → Temora → Ariah Park → Ardlethan → Griffith
Day 2 – Sunday 19 April 2026
9:30am - Depart Griffith
Travel through Leeton arriving at Yanco Hotel.
12:15pm - Yanco to Grong Grong
Lunch stop at the Royal Hotel.
3:05pm - Grong Grong to Marrar
Travel via Matong, Ganmain and Coolamon.
5:45pm - Final Run Home
Arrive back in Junee where the rail adventure concludes. Join us at the Junee Hotel for dinner and accommodation
